Cybersecurity in Open Architectures

Does open mean less secure? This course gives the engineering answer and shows how to secure open process automation from design through daily operation. You'll learn IEC 62443 in working terms and design zones and conduits based on what a compromise would cost. You'll also configure OPC UA security properly and run your own certificate infrastructure across every vendor's components. The course then covers identity and access, network security and monitoring, security requirements in procurement, security testing at FAT and SAT, and operating securely for the long haul. It ends with your own zone-and-conduit capstone design. 15 video lessons (about 80 minutes) with knowledge checks.
